Ester 2:12: „It was the turn of each young woman to go to King Ahasuerus after she had been prepared for twelve months, according to the ordinances of women, because thus the days of her preparation were divided: six months with oil of myrrh and six months with perfume and preparations. for the beautification of Woman".

Esther had to go through a detailed, delicate and extensive preparation process before being presented to King Xerxes (also known as Ahasuerus).

His submission to the king was not voluntary, and the circumstances that led to his separation from his only relative, Mordecai, were also beyond his control.

But because we are blessed to know how this story ended, we know that in situations that seemed negative and out of control, God worked in His perfect will to produce illustrious results.

This passage from the Book of Esther is God's symbol of how all things work for our beautiful Lord to his perfect ends.

As He did with Esther, the Lord is working on all the “behind the veil” processes in your life.

In the book of Esther, Hegai, the king's eunuch, may symbolize the guidance of the Holy Spirit preparing us to meet our King, our Lord Jesus, at his second coming.

Esther can represent us, the followers and disciples of our beloved Lord Jesus, who desperately need all the help we can get in this difficult life.

The Bible tells us that Hegai did everything that Hegai advised, ordered and recommended to Esther.

The Bible also doesn't say what Hegai ordered, but it must have been important since he was the king's eunuch.

Whether Hegai asked for a milk bath, bubble bath, revitalizing shampoo, exotic herbs or anything else, Esther obliged. without question

And what he ordered her may have made the difference for her to become the queen of all Persia, saving thousands upon thousands of people.

Likewise, it is important that we obey the leading of the Lord Jesus and "ask nothing" but what our Lord Christ requires in our lives.

Just like Esther.

3. Life won't always be perfect

Ester 3:5: „When Haman saw that Mordecai had not bowed down and paid homage to him, he was furious.6But he refused to touch Mordecai alone, because he had been told about Mordecai's people. Instead, Haman tried to destroy all the Jews whoguerrathroughout the kingdom of Ahasuerus, people of Mordecai.”

As in every story, the Bible wants us to know that there will always be a villain, someone who tries to destroy, interfere with, or cause trouble for God's people.

Life won't always be perfect, but the Book of Esther shares one of the most comforting truths of all time: God is always there to REALLY help you.

4. If you don't act for the Lord, He will use another

Ester 4:13: „And Mordecai said thattheyto reply to Esther, "Do not believe in your heart that you will escape to the king's palace any more than all other Jews.14Because if you remain silent during that time, relief and salvation will come to Jews elsewhere.”

Let's take a look at these amazing words. "If you remain completely silent during this time, relief and deliverance will come to Jews elsewhere."

This passage shows us that if you don't do God's beautiful and perfect will, then God will use another woman, man or person to do it.

If that happens, you could miss out on God's blessings in your life, or worse, who knows what the consequences could be?

Ester 4:15: „So Esther told hertheyto reply to Mordecai:sixteen“Go, gather all the Jews present in Susa and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My handmaidens and I will also fast. And then I will go to the king whoEsagainst the law; and if I perish, I perish!”

This is Queen Esther's most famous quote, and honestly, it's incredibly beautiful.

There are a million lessons to be learned from this bold and beautiful statement by Esther, but there is one you need to learn right now:

Never face life's problems or situations without having been in the presence of our Lord. For God to help you, do your part.

He will fulfill His part of the "bargain." She could be proud and confident of her great beauty (as the Bible emphasizes her great physical beauty).

But no, she knew she had to fast. For 3 long days. Because to face life's problems, you MUST come into the presence of the Lord. Hallelujah.

Ester 5:3: „And the king said to her, "What do you want, Queen Esther?EsYour request? It will be given to you, even half of the kingdom!"

This event in the book of Esther is an incredible symbol of how our beautiful God will do things for us and give us more than we ask for.

Esther left, risking her life and not knowing what would happen to her, but God allowed the king to give her much more: "Up to half the kingdom"!

This is incredibly beautiful in the book of Esther. Therefore, Ephesians 3:20 confirms:

Ephesians 3:20: „And to him who is able to do all things more abundantly than we ask or understand, according to the power that works in us,21to himPerhapsGlory in the church through Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen".

God will always give you more than you think or imagine. Just as he did for Esther (saving her life), he will do the same for you.

Ester 2:7: „Mordecai had a cousin named Hadassah who he raised because he had no father or mother. Also known as Esther, this young woman had a fine figure and was pretty. Mordecai took her as his own daughter when her father and mother died.”

What many people don't know is that Esther was a simple orphan.

She was poor, she had no parents, but our great God had big plans for her.

These plans made the queen of an entire country and saved thousands and thousands of Jews. Because God doesn't care about your socioeconomic situation and your background. Glory to him forever.

8. Pray for Esther's Virtue: Listen

Again, Esther 2:12 and Esther 2:15 have great implications for us.

Ester 2:12: „Before it was a girl's turn to go to King Xerxes, she had to undergo twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for women, six months with myrrh oil and six months with perfumes and cosmetics.

Ester 2:15: “She asked nothing more than what Hegai, the king's eunuch, the guardian of women, advised her. And Esther won the favor of all who saw her.”

It's similar to point 2 of this post: Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Furthermore, it is important to emphasize what made it possible for beloved Esther to follow what God wanted for her.

He had the virtue of listening.

Something many of us could work on.

We need to pray every day, not only to be able to hear God better, but also to have the humility of Esther, the humility of listening.

9. God can make something wonderfully good out of something bad.

Ester 1:12:But when the servants delivered the king's order, Queen Vashti refused to come. Then the king became angry and burned with rage.

When Vashti ignored what her husband ordered the king, it was bad, very bad.

Her husband felt disrespected and humiliated. Overall, the situation was pretty bad, but God had big plans for this situation.

This last point, but definitely not least, is reminiscent of truth #1 and is a particularly amusing fact few people notice about the Book of Esther:

Unlike many other books in the Bible, the word "God" is not mentioned once in the entire book of Esther. It's like God wasn't even in the book.

Our beautiful Lord God willed it that way in this book.

This is extremely important to note in the Book of Esther because it has ONE life-changing implication for us:

We may not always see God's hand in our lives, but it's ALWAYS there.

While everything looked CHAOT in the book of Esther, guess what: all events unfolded beautifully according to God's perfect will in the book.

Now give the Lord the glory for it. It doesn't matter how much death, chaos, disorder, trouble there is in the Book of Esther (or in her lifetime).

God is ALWAYS present for everything to work out wonderfully.
